Find the transaction ID in Coinbase

Select the payment from bitcoin's page or your transactions. One Coinbase has sent on the Bitcoin network has a View on block explorer link, which opens the transaction and its ID.

Read what pending means on Coinbase

Before you act

Copy the full 64-character ID from the explorer page.
No explorer link means it hasn't been sent: a hold, an account check, or a send to an email or phone that stays inside Coinbase.
A Lightning payment never gets a transaction ID.
