A Bitcoin transaction ID is 64 characters: digits and the letters a to f. An exchange order number or a Lightning payment hash can look similar but will not work in a Bitcoin explorer.
Before you act
- Count the characters: a transaction ID has 64.
- An order or withdrawal reference may exist only inside the service.
- Ask the sender to confirm the payment used the Bitcoin network.
