KanoPool.
A small Bitcoin mining pool at kano.is, run since 2014 by Kano, one of the developers of the cgminer mining software.
About KanoPool
KanoPool is run by a developer known as Kano, one of the developers of the cgminer mining software. He opened it on 20 September 2014 under the name CKPool, after the pool software he and Con Kolivas, who runs Solo CK, were writing together, and at first its fee went to both of them. By April 2017 it was called KanoPool and Kano ran it alone.
It pays its miners by PPLNS, pay per last N shares: when the pool finds a block, the reward is split by how much work each miner sent in the three days before. Each KanoPool block’s first transaction pays the reward to the pool’s own wallet, and once the block has 101 confirmations the pool pays its miners from there. These are payments to the pool’s miners, separate from the transactions confirmed inside the block. Miners can also mine solo there and keep the reward of any block they find, less a small fee; three of its blocks, all in 2024, were found that way.
KanoPool has found 2,440 blocks, most of them before 2019. It still runs but is now very small: its latest block was found on 22 January 2026, and on 26 October 2026 its site showed 129 users mining.

Recent activity
Block share counts what this pool found, including chance variation. Mining power, or hashrate, estimates how much computing work its miners do each second. The two figures cover different periods. One EH/s means a billion billion attempts each second.
Page snapshot: 30 Oct 2026, 10:32 UTC. Block activity updates about every five minutes.

Weekly estimatesLow 45.6 PH/s · High 1.1 EH/s
The latest 26 available weekly observations, in hashes per second. Estimates come from observed blocks, rather than a direct reading of the pool’s machines. Missing weeks may leave gaps between observations.

When a block containing your payment joins the Bitcoin blockchain, your payment gets its first confirmation. Later blocks add confirmations, whichever pool finds them. The pool name does not identify the sender or recipient of your payment.
Sources and how to read the data
Background comes from the sources below. Activity comes from the mempool-compatible API used by UTXOHub. Pool names are attributed using block tags and known reward addresses; they are not proof of an individual miner’s identity and may be incomplete or incorrect.
