Would turn a wallet backup into short themed sentences instead of unrelated words, to make recovery words easier to remember.

Lists of unrelated recovery words are hard to memorise. Formosa builds the backup from short sentences using themed word lists, keeping the same security. It would work with existing BIP 39 backups: a Formosa phrase converts back to standard words, so the same keys and addresses result.
