BIP-110
Reduced Data Temporary Softfork.
Proposed a temporary, one-year rule change limiting how much non-payment data a Bitcoin payment could carry.
Its author argued that storing arbitrary data, such as 'inscriptions', burdens node operators and makes payments costlier. It would have made large data fields invalid for a year, while coins created before it started could still be spent as before.
